Internet Explorer 8 released but not cutting the mustard
Internet Explorer 8 has been in development since around March 2006 and in 2008 the beta version had been released. The final version was officially released in march 2009 but the signs are that people aren't too bothered about downloading it. Also there are suggestions that people who have downloaded it are reverting back to Internet Explorer 7 due to compatibility issues, rendering problems and poor speed performances. With Microsoft loosing ground to its competitors it is important for them that IE 8 becomes a success, but with the likes of Firefox 3 doing so well, it seems Microsofts browser dominance is on a downhill slope. At My Marketing Assistant, out of all the browsers we've used and tested, we feel that Firefox 3 is by far the best.
